Semthex has released a new 8.8.1 kernel that now fully supports Intel 64-bit processors which means it is SSE3 only due to the lack of SSE2 64-bit processors. No more -legacy in the boot options for a number of users and thus improved speed should be the result. A number of other fixes are present too including sleep issues being resolved. The new version is currently label ND-1.6. Get it from the #kernel channel on the new IRC server irc.osx86.hu. Update: ND.2_1 now available including HPET selector patched by DaemonES. SSE3 still.
