Paulicat has successfully integrated a Speedstepping function into Semthex's 10.4.8 kernel. For laptop user this should mean better battery life and performance. The feature can be applied to any of the 10.4.8 Semthex source trees. Early reports suggest it is currently Intel only and it amy also fix the sleep issues that people have been having. See the thread here. For more information go to the IRC channel #kernel.
